Tuesday's Agenda Notes

  • Canoeing was awesome today!  Remember that our next session is Friday morning.  Dress for the weather, and bring something to change into.
  • Outdoor school bake sale.  Each student should bring 1 dozen (12) pieces of baking on Monday May 16th.  Please see the information below and the note that will be sent home.
  • Poetry Song Analysis due tomorrow.
  • Math Unit 3 Problem due date has been change to Thursday.

Spring Bake Sale & Class Competition
To raise money towards Outdoor School, the grades 7s and 8s are going to be holding a bake sale on May 16, 17, and 18th.

Each grade 7/8 student is responsible to bring 1 dozen pieces of baking (cupcakes, cookies, squares, etc.) on their designated day.

Items can be bought or homemade and should be ready to sell (ex: cookies don’t need to be wrapped, but pieces of cake should be wrapped or portioned).

The theme for this year’s bake sale is “The Great Outdoors” and there will be prizes for the class that raises the most money, as well as the best ‘homemade’ item decorated to go with the theme.  Though the Outdoor Ed trip is just for grades 7 and 8, Mr. Richardson’s grade 6s are still encouraged to participate (they are still eligible to win!).

Each class will sell baking on the following days:
Ø  Mr. Richardson’s and Mr. Sweeney’s Classes: Monday, May 16th
Ø  Mr. Benjamin’s and Mrs. Sklar’s Classes: Tuesday May 17th
Ø  Leftovers will be sold on Wednesday, May 18th
