We
will organize our work by using foul tools: an Agenda Binder, a Subject Binder,
a Portfolio Binder, and duo-tang folders.
I will help give you the structure to organize your work and materials
well, but it is up to you to be consistent in keeping your things organized and
managing your belongings.
Agenda – This binder
will be taken home every night, and brought to school everyday. Use a big sturdy binder. It will include the following sections:
1. Agenda
2. Communication (timetable,
classroom constitution, notes home, etc.)
3. Language Arts (include
your writing journal)
4. Math
Subject Binder – This binder
will primarily be kept at school, but should be brought home when needed for
homework. It will include the following
sections:
1. Science
2. Social Studies
3. Health
4. Careers
Duo-Tang Folders – You will need
the following four folders. Keep any
extra folders for use later in the school year.
1. French
2. Arts Ed.
3. Language Arts -
Conventions
4. Language Arts –
Finished Writing
Portfolio Binder - This binder
will be kept in the class at all times, and will be use to store and organize
completed notes, work, and assignments. Use
a large binder. It will include the
following sections:
1. Language Arts
2. Math
3. Social Studies
4. Science
5. Health
6. Careers
