or the past several years, Grant Road School has done an annual fundraiser for the awareness of autism.  This year, the school will be collecting recyclable bottles this Friday, May 27th between 8:00 am and 1:00 pm.  We are asking for each student to bring a grocery bag full of plastic bottles and aluminum cans for donation.  If you would like to donate more than this, you can drop off your recyclables anytime in the morning on Friday, May 27th at the school (specifically Room 16) at your leisure.  Students from Mrs. Seymour’s class will be sorting and bagging all donations in the afternoon to take to SARCAN.   As in previous years, all the money collected from these recyclables will be donated to the Autism Resource Centre.  To date, Grant Road School has donated over $2000 to this organization!  Let’s continue to do our part to raise awareness of Autism.
