Science Fair Experiment Timeline


  • Wednesday April 22nd - Finish your summary of research.  This should be 5 - 10 well written paragraphs that answer your guiding questions and summarize your research.
  • Thursday April 23rd - Finish your hypothesis and experiment design worksheet.  Get these approve by me.
  • Friday April 24th - Type a good copy of you hypothesis and experiment procedure. Create any data collection tables that you need to conduct your experiment.  Prepare anything else that you need to conduct your experiment.
  • Saturday April 25th to Monday April 27th - Conduct your experiment.  Do it at home over the weekend or in class on Monday.  Collect your data using charts, tables, video, etc.
  • Tuesday April 28th -  Analyze your data and write your conclusions. 
  • Wednesday April 29th - Finish up any unfinished work.  Plan and create your poster board.
  • Thursday April 30th - Finish your poster board and rehearse your presentation.
  • Friday May 1st - AM finishing touches and set up.  PM SCIENCE FAIR!
Notes:

  • No candy giveaways at the science fair please.
  • Each group will need to purchase their own poster board.  Try to get a tri-fold poster board from Staples, Walmart, etc.
  • Dress the part for the science fair.
