This year Grant Road School will be running a STANDARDS Track
Meet. This format allows all students to find success by trying to reach
at least one standard for each event they participate in. There are three
standards for each event; first, second and third. Students who reach any
of the three standards will receive a ribbon. Helping students find
success is our focus.
The STANDARDS Track Meet will take place all day on Thursday, May 30th.
Parent volunteers are needed in order for the meet to run as well as
possible. Volunteer duties will include timing the running events and/or
assisting teachers in the running of the field events. Volunteers are an
important part of our school’s Standards Track Meet and any help you offer will
be appreciated.
If you are willing to volunteer, please indicate if you are available in
the morning, afternoon, or all day. In addition, please provide us with a
contact number in which we can reach you at to follow up with any
information.
