Due - Friday February 1st
You will have 4 periods to work on your assignment in class. Each will be 1 - 1.5 hours in length. You are responsible to finish any unfinished work on your own time.
Suggested Timeline
Thursday January 24th - Work Period #1: Complete research.
Monday January 28th - Work Period #2: Plan your draft, start your draft writing.
Tuesday January 29th - Work Period #3: Finish your draft writing, review and edit, start your final brochure.
Wednesday January 30th - Put together your final brochure.
Writing Expectations
There is no minimum or maximum amount of writing required. You will have to decide how much your brochure needs. All of your writing should be descriptive and persuasive. It should be well revised and edited. It should have some forms of introduction, reasons why you should visit, and conclusion.
Format
Again, the format is your choice. We will review some additional format ideas and look at brochure samples in class. This is your opportunity to be creative and to show your ability, effort, and knowledge.
Remember to look at your assignment package for more specific information on what to include. Do your best!
