Science Fair Progress Update

Today you should have your summary of research complete.  If you don't, you are falling behind.  You should leave it for now and get the next steps of the scientific method completed.  You'll have to find time later to finish your summary of research.

Monday will be our experiment day, and we will dedicate most of the day to this.  You should plan on conducting your experiment at school on Monday.  If you need to do a portion of it at home, or the whole thing at home, please speak to me to receive a special exemption.

Today and tomorrow you need to complete everything in order to prepare yourselves to conduct your experiment on Monday.

1. Write your hypothesis and clear it with me.  Add it to the document that you have started for your summary or research. 
2. Complete the experiment worksheet and clear it with me.
3. Type a polished copy of the experiment procedure (from the experiment worksheet) on the on-going document that you have created.
4. Complete data recording charts and documents you'll need for your experiment.
5. Print only the experiment procedure and your data collecting sheets.

This weekend gather any materials that you need for your experiment and have them ready to bring on Monday.  Speak to me TODAY if there are materials that you need that you think the school may have, for example - beakers, test tubes, etc.

ATTENDANCE - You need to make sure that you are here everyday until the science fair.  Part of you evaluation will be dedicated to group contribution.  Your group members need you here.
