Grade 8 Math Test Information

Mr. Sweeney's grade 8 math class will have our unit 3 - operations with fractions test on Thursday.  Here are the highlights of what you should be able to demonstrate:

• Multiply factions.  Draw a picture or use a number line to show each product.
• Divide fractions.  Use a number line to illustrate the quotient.
• Multiply and divide fractions using strategies of your choice.
• Order of operations with fractions (adding, subtracting, multiplying, dividing).
• Word problem.
