HOMEWORK - I have too much, what do I do!?!

In room 11 we don't make excuses for not finishing homework.  Most homework are assignments carried on from class.  Now that you are in grade 6, it is the perfect to learn responsibility and ownership over your school work!  If you are in band, you miss three hours of class time per week.  This means that you have extra responsibility and probably extra homework.  Everyone gets busy with activities and commitments, so here are a few tips that might help you get all your homework done on time:

• Use your class time wisely.
• Use your agenda to plan ahead.
• Visit the opportunity room at 8:30 to do homework.
• Make arrangements with me to stay in at recess or lunch to work.
• Don't rely on technology.  If you have something due online, make sure that you have access at home to the site ahead of time (not the night before).
